The JP Luk Media Experience

My name is John. I’ve always had a passion for the creative and media industry. Since a young age, I would make newsletters to take to family gathers to pass out to everyone…I know, I was that guy even from a young age. That passion continued through my education as I was an editor for the school newsletters and co-editor-in-chief for my high school newspaper. I continued to learn various graphic design, photography and video editing programs in my free time and would do projects for friends and family.

I can usually be found behind a camera, planning a live production or creating graphics for various organizations. I love what I do and enjoy taking the time to do it for others around the community. I want to continue helping out the community around me and my family and expand my creative clientele.

While my full time job is Associate AD for Video Production and Recruiting Services at Cornell University, there I oversee the live television productions, creative services area and more. From media days, portraits, team photos and more, covering all the teams has been enjoyable and always something new to tell to the fans.

I am a very family centered person. My wife, Abby and I have a son, Logan, and two energetic puppies, Toby and Gus. When I’m not working, we can be found enjoying hikes, kayaking and exploring around the region as a family!
